Personal finance lessons

30 Minutes to complete each module

Kids take 30 minutes to complete each self-directed module  and play the money game so it's easy to it in your child's schedule. It's also within the attention span of most 10-15 year olds and the interactivity ensures they remain engaged.

Additional to the 30 student lessons, there are 13 parent child lessons. These are designed for students to complete with a parent or trusted adult. They are optional but highly recommended as they help to put learning into real life context.

Money game for children

MoneyTime includes a fun money management game as part of the course. Children are rewarded with virtual money within the game for answering questions correctly and can then decide how to spend it. They can shop at virtual stores, donate, or invest in further education and property that will increase their long-term wealth. In this way, MoneyTime teaches your kids how the consequences of their financial decisions work without the real-life pressure, risk, or fear of failure.

What teachers are saying

The kids are totally into it and very highly motivated. From a VERY low baseline of knowledge, they’re now bandying words like mortgage and interest and investment like old hands. Best of all, they’re seeing in a very graphic and understandable way how money works and how it grows. Thanks so much for giving us the opportunity to use this excellent program.
David Mackenzie, Teacher

We absolutely loved using MoneyTime! We found it to be an engaging and undeniably beneficial learning experience. All of our parents loved it too.
Taylor McGrath, Teacher

My students are really enjoying using the program and bug me to unlock the next modules. They particularly like the mix between real world contexts and the Maths.

My 11 year old absolutely loved Money Time. She doesn’t usually enjoy Maths but was really motivated to engage in the Money Time lessons through gamification and she worked through the modules independently. Highly recommended for kids learning about money finance in a fun way ~Tracy
